Its not so much as a new membership but a renewal , I was one of the original crew way back but after I crashed with burnsie and destroyed mi spondon I didn't get as involved, still had gsxr 1100s tricked up and my ride now is a tricked up efe, looking to get a gia frame next year but not wrap around, I like the original body work too much . Are there any of the originals out there? Cris from Southport, Eric the Viking from London and the Scottish lad where Burnsie and I stayed before knock hill, sorry can't remember your name, been so long ago and had a bit of a bump on the head the next day! Still good to see SOC still alive though . Cheers Andy
Hi Andy, good to hear from you, I think we met once at one of the do's. I'm afraid there's not many of the old crew still involved, Eric no longer has bikes though I still keep in touch with him (nipped down south and saw him last week actually!) Chris from Southport still has his but hasn't done much with it for quite a few years, he keeps threatening to put it back on the road (or should that be trailer!) He's on here as 'SpondonTurbo'. Rab from Jockland hasn't got his now but I keep in touch via facebook. Burnsie still has hisbut is out in Oz with it, tho' he is actually in blighty at the mo', I don't know if you've stayed in touch with him? Don't know if you knew Ken, the Geordie lad? he's recently had to get rid of his because of a divorce. There's a new crew developed and a lot of us met up at Mallory the other weekend, it was a great laugh, just like old times! cheers, Steve Nick

crusty: Hi Lads I'v got a frame here that I'd like to get some info on it's a steel cradle frame that was built in 1979 I believe, the frame number is SPE/750F1/16 which is stamped on a small plate brazed on to one of the tubes close to the headstock. Thanks Mike.

mathini: Hey all, a new member with questions regarding my newly acquired Spondon frame (orig purchase 2014). Can anyone tell me if the alloy frames have any coatings or anodize? I'd like to polish out some blem's, but don't want to create a maintenance nightmare

bigelsy: I have obtained a Spondon Hooligan by hook or by crook. (Long Story) I am trying to find a home for it as I do not have the time or facility to do it justice. Is there anyone on here that can give me some guidance to ensure it goes to the right owner.
