First of all nice to see there's a place for those old Spondons on the web. There were, a few years ago, some calls for an I put my name down, but nobody got in touch. Today I was looking for some photos and came across this place. Nice one!
Here's my 1994 EXUP 1000 (registered), with a 1990 TTS ported, Wiseco 1043 engine, updated about 5 years ago with an Italian bestoke tail unit, bars etc. Since this photo was taken I've replaced the oil cooler with a dapper little one right under the main rad and some very small but euro legal twin headlights.
What would you change on it other than painting the engine black?
It's at the painter's now as the tank sprung a leak at the bottom which needs welding up. Decided to re-paint the white race plate on the back. I wanted it smaller and rounder the first time but they did it wrong and I
mike: Just bought a TZ350 spondon , I am looking to road register it but to get a 1976 plate i need to date it . Does anyone know whohas the spondon records of Vin Numbers and year of manufacture ??

crusty: Hi Lads I'v got a frame here that I'd like to get some info on it's a steel cradle frame that was built in 1979 I believe, the frame number is SPE/750F1/16 which is stamped on a small plate brazed on to one of the tubes close to the headstock. Thanks Mike.
